Biography:

I got my M endorsement back in 2001, and bought my first bike, a 1980's Honda 750 or 800 with a sticky throttle. Pretty much forgot everything I learned in my MSF course, target fixated, and over the handlebars I went.

Fast forward to 2017, I got an R3 with 8k miles on it. After much reading and youtube vid watching, starting practicing in parking lots, and eventually put about 20k miles before crashing again. This time, I was simply going a bit too fast and panicked.

Which brings me here. It's either $5-600 to fix up the R3, or selling it and spending roughly $2k extra for an F800ST and some MC classes. Right now, I'm leaning towards the latter.
