Devon (DWS) has been reporting spammers on this forum for years now so we decided it would be easier if we gave him banning rights, so we asked if he would be willing to volunteer for this job.

I'm thankful he agreed, so once again: Devon thanks for all you already have done for this community and thanks for volunteering to help even more!

I would like to add that I really appreciate the hard work that the moderators perform on this site. They really keep it clean and it is nice to visit a site that is so civil and thoughtful (well, perhaps with the exception of Dunny

). Of course, this comes from someone who's last computer class employed an IBM mainframe computer (with tubes) the size of a lecture room and that used FORTRAN and punch cards to program. Not being a very good typist, I wasn't very good at punching holes in cards either, so my programs never seemed to work. I am a better typist now that spell checkers have been invented, but I still can't program my way out of a paper bag.

But I do appreciate people who can.

It has been a busy weekend, I'm proud to announce yet another volunteer who has joined our team. Guidoveloce will be assisting dr.sauer alias Alberto in moderating the Italian sections and we hope he will be able to be the 'linking pin' between the English speaking part and the Italian speaking part of the f800riders.org community.

LOL, that could probably start WW3

If you want sections removed from your profile, just ask but I believe Gramfon is a moderator for the French sections and still active although he's not mentioned at the bottom of the section lists in the French sections. But the French community (and the Greek community) are much less active as the Italian community (if the post count is a good measurement) so that is why we have 3 moderators for the Italian sections..

It has shown up in a couple of forum sections. As far as I'm concerned it should be in the "Site Sponsors Section".
