Yesterday I received a letter from BMWNA informing me that the warranty on the "fuel level sensor" of my 2007 R1200R was being extended "for up to 12 years and unlimited mileage, starting from the date of the first retail sale". I have never had a problem with my fuel level indicator, but this is still good news. Only 5 more years before the warranty runs out and my fuel level strip fails. At least I know know when that will happen.

I paid for my replacement sensor about a year ago, so I'm still good for 11 years
