I got a pair of Black Trailguard pants on Saturday. Guy from the Vstrom forum was selling them. $150 buck-o-roonies. Like new, worn a couple times. Size 48 on the tag.
Fits my slightly larger than 23 waist just fine and the length isn't bad with boots on.
I can wear them with another pair of pants or sweats under them for more temperature variations. The knee pads are movable and I got them OK for my knees while riding.
They have a zippered opening on the leg that catches the air just right for the cooling affect. Perfect for the BMW that tries to cook your leg.
Before these, my pants of cordura didn't fend off the heat well, neither did blue jeans. My Aerostitch Roadcrafter pants worked well though.
Rider mag did a review of them and Salvo Clemetory liked them, probably a few years ago.
So if you find some floating about on the for sale places, they might keep your legs from frying while riding the F800. My G650GS is a cooker too and it was fine on a test run yesterday.
Just in case you were wondering .....
