Hello, I know I'm in the RS forum but it appears the RT forum has gone the way of the dinosaur.

I test rode a '15 RT yesterday, was very favorably impressed, however noticed quite intense vibration thru the seat during acceleration, leveling off fairly well when speed stabilized. Vibration thru bars was pretty decent. Do you know is this quality characteristic of the new WC boxers, or perhaps I was on a new RT that needed its throttle bodies synced, or it's a feature of the frame and engine mount of the RT? Let me know please if you experiencing this w/ your new or test ridden RS.

    Thanks!

I have noticed the same vibration on my RS at around 7,000 rpm. However, it seems to appear mostly in second or third gears and (maybe my imagination) seems to have been lessened by switching from 89 octane to 91 octane. In practice though, the bike is very smooth as I don't ride at high rpm much. I just returned from an 800-mile trip and I have no complaints about vibration while riding on the road at legal speeds. If you really have to gas the bike during passing, you are typically too busy to notice the vibration, so in practice it just isn't an issue for me.
