Took a little ride at lunch time and found this Caribbean joint and grabbed some jerk chicken, cabbage, peas and plantains. I couldn't get the helmet in the shot as I had to capture all the components of this succulent little Jamaican combo.

^ Nice plate, tarless! Looks delicious!

Went to Yamaha demo days at a local dealer, where I met up with a friend for a short ride out together. The free sandwiches at the demo days arrived and disappeared while I was out on a demo ride, so I stopped into a Waffle House mid-afternoon for a burger and hash browns.

Ha ha! I thought it would be less traumatic for you if it remained safely sealed inside its innocuous package, sparing you from having your gaze defiled by seeing it spread indiscriminately onto the top of the hamburger.

Thank you Hank, sceneries and food are two of my main goals, when I travel abroad.
As far as Austria, they have cheap highways (5.2 euros for 10 day for a motorbike), and some more expensive scenic routes, e.g. Grossglockner, Nockalmstrasse, and others, and they worth the expense

Wow! I wouldn't have a clue how to eat that with just my hands. I would be looking for a couple of slices of bread or a bun to dump it in so that I could hang on to it and cram it into my mouth. That is why I love to eat hot dogs. They are easy to hang on to - and are possibly more nutritional than Spam.

And speaking of hot dogs, I just heard on the (not so fake) news yesterday that Oscar Meyer has developed a drone that flies overhead and drops cooked wieners on the waiting masses below.

That's pretty close Gunther! A nice pictorial of a muscle fest (various plates: fra diavolo, cooked in wine, etc.) would be awesome. Now THAT we be an awesome food ride!

Those sea food platters in Brittany are legendary. Darn that looks good.

    Crap I"m hungry right now

Hamburger on pretzel roll with beer cheese and battered & fried jalapeño peppers & onions. Cajun fried potatoes. Absolutely delicious.

My riding buddy had the Grouper fish sandwich:

I had the the "Down South" fried chicken sandwich, hot and delicious. Wish I'd gotten a better angle so you could see the chicken!

Looks wonderful Gunther. I love seafood. I live on the coast where we get fantastic seafood also. As a child I spent a lot of time fishing with my father. We always caught fresh fish. Later on I did quite a bit of spearfishing. I lived on fresh fish, lobster and abalone.

Wow! That looks scary. That would keep me fed for a week.

Burger has grilled onions, cheddar cheese, and pickles... awesome.
That dog did look like Dog D*ck. It freaked me out when I bit into it, but then I got over it. I would have never thought dog schwenis could be so good!

Tomorrow I'm going to grab a tuna taco that looks like dog

Today is my birthday and I'm gonna have my preferred dinner: pastina (small pasta soup) and a big spiced chicken meatball.

Thanks for the wishes. No, I was not too drunk to answer, just too… asleep. Usually I don't have wine at home, it's a simple way to avoid to drink wine every day.

The grattoni all'uovo Barilla (a kind of pastina made with eggs) are the food of the gods.

I just edited three posts to clean up the language. We shouldn't need to be embarrassed to share what we read on this forum with our daughters and grand daughters. If you have a problem with that, feel free to post on ADV Rider. Or go to Hollywood.
