Hello. My wife and I are one of three Ontario Canada retired couples doing a tour of Tuscany/Sardinia/Corsica in April 2017. Having another rider or two would complete the roster and generate the optimum pricing. We are familiar with the operator as we did a tour in Croatia with him and had a fantastic trip.

We are doing an 11 day version of this tour leaving from Florence rather than Venice and the cost is therefore less.

If you are interested you can contact Darko Novosel at the above site for details or feel free to pose any questions to myself.

    Regards
    Mike

    Hi Mike,
I live in Genoa, Italy, one of the main italian harbour to Sardinia and Corsica, and every year I have a week trip to Sardinia, in search of the perfect road , and in search also of the perfect meal...
Should you have any question, or any tip, feel free to ask, it'll be a pleasure to give you plenty of information.
    Regards
    Su cunnu!

Thank you Gunter for the great offer. We may well have questions as we get closer to the day. If it keeps you coming back it must be great.

Still room on the April 2017 11 day version!

    Read it!
I live in Genoa and speak italian (obviously), so there's no point for me to ask Mototrip to organize something for me there
Anyway, 5 Terre are 1 hour away from Genoa, so if I'm free from work, we could manage to meet and share some km, if you like (and the rest of the group has nothing against it).
Join the group for Sardinia, or Corsica could be a bit awkward, but for half a day, maybe it's not a problem.
The best advice I can give you is to read and inform before you're leaving home, mainly about history, people and, yes, even food of the places you will visit: no pizza in Sardinia .
    Keep on touch

Why can't I get pizza like that in California?

Can't you get the other food in California?
I like chocolate, I like fish, I like pizza (not always), but I suppose I wouldn't like a pizza with chocolate coated fish, so, 2 good food don't automatically make a third good food, this just to explain that in Italy we appreciate separated flavors, and food not too "complicated".
A couple of years ago, I was in Pisa, speaking with a (nice) belgian girl, who was eating a dish of pasta... in the same dish, she put salad, ham and something else I can't remember (luckily): it was horrible (the dish, not the girl)

Yes we are back and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire tour. Our tour guide Darko Novosel was fantastic as usual and took us down some amazing roads. I can appreciate why these areas attract so many motorcyclists. Weather was perfect. Food was too good! Our season here at home is just starting. Doing this tour spoils you. Our roads are pretty tame by comparison.
