I sent a PM to a guy, I only received his response via email, none in my notificatio

I sent a PM to a guy. Later, I only received his response via email, but there is no response from him shown in my "notifications" area.

Why? Am I doing something wrong? I looked at the "settings" area and didn't see anything out of order. ??

That's been happening to me also. I keep looking in settings for something too, but all seems right there. I did receive messages near when I first joined, but not for the last several months.

It seems that you both have two active accounts, that must be confusing the system.
Halfpint, the administrator, will have to look into this ...

RichKerr, yours was easy as somehow you had to identical accounts with the same email and username. I have merged them together and you should now be able to access your stray PM's

Trialsguy, yours is will take an extra step as there are 2 emails in the mix. One is a gmail account, the other uses what seems like a work email, with the domain name we-energies. These both you? And if so, do you want to use the gmail as your email account on the site?

Thanks HalfPint!! Yeah, not long after I joined, my account seemed to disappear, so I made another with all the same info. The original then started working again when I logged on, so I never thought about it again. And yes, all of a sudden all my pm's are there.

I have the same issue now. I get email notifications I got a PM but no messages in my inbox. There was this mishap with a lot of disappearing accounts a while back so maybe I also have 2 accounts in the system now.
