    Aerostitch -

bought a pant. was told they shrink, so washed them as instructed and still to large. found out they are 2" bigger in the waist than marked even after washing.
told the shop and they figure it is my issues since I washed them. then they say they are over pants and should be larger??? they aren't advertised as "over pants". really! two inches larger than marked.

My Arerostitch have never changed size. Over 10 years of washing and having them replace zippers, no change. My Darien did have a lot of the seam covers wash off in the last cleaning though.
Who do they think they are ? Levis of the last century? BS.
Maybe ANDY IS going cheaper with volume?

I've had an Aerostich Roadcrafter one piece for 5 years. No change in size after washing. Mailed it back to the US for a new neck to ankle zip a while back. All ok. I wear my suit with just LD Comfort 'skins' or something similar underneath, plus heated vest and/or lightweight pullover in winter.

JJC, without knowing which model of pants you are describing it is difficult for any reader to comment, however for the ROADCRAFTER one or two piece, the Aerostich website clearly states they are intended to be worn over a set of street clothes:

"Roadcrafters are intended to fit nicely over a layer of street clothing, so if you wear a size 40R men's blazer or sport coat…or a size 8L women’s dress…select the same size Aerostich jacket or suit. If you’re unsure of your size, see the sizing chart guidelines, or contact us (218 722 1927, service@aerostich.com) and we’ll help you get the right fit. We will ask for information about your height, weight, chest/suit or dress size, and your jeans or pants ‘waist x inseam’ size." (http://www.aerostich.com/jackets-pan...sic-pants.html)

I read that as meaning if your street pants are size 40R, the Roadcrafter size 40R must be larger and will be just right when worn OVER the street pants, not INSTEAD of the street pants.
