Heads up display for helmets

It shows your speed, navigation, maps, calls and your music via a tiny mirrored see-thru display that sits below the vision-line of your right eye. It's there when you need it and you can almost ignore it when you don't.

A rear view camera option might be handy! Also, laser beams.

Where are the auto seeking missile controls?
There have been attempts at making this technology available for years. Usually at a cost most of us can't afford.

Motorcycle.com thinks the HUD/camera device is the best motorcycle product of the year. Seems like a good idea to me, but I think I will let it cook for a couple of years just to get the bugs out and to make sure consumers actually like it - especially after they drop their helmet on the ground a time or two:
