Seems to be a more affordable ($400) cycle GPS with the latest tech. Can't wait for some actual real-time use reviews. Or perhaps they'll send me one to test!

Very interesting at that price. May be tempted to upgrade from my well used 660. Good to see they are bring more integration with the phone and the added benefits of tracking and accident alert. Bring the benefits of CarPlay.

I have a spare 395LM. Lost my original, ordered a replacement and after opening the new one and updating it found the original. :/ Therefore I couldn't return it. I'm selling it for $300 if anyone is interested in it. Still in box w/ wiring harness and mount. Shoot me an email at nico.costello(at)gmail(dot)com.

Besides Octupi's virtually new 395LM, another source to look at are the refurbished ones. I bought my 590LM as a refurbished GPS and it looked like new...except it was several hundred less than the new 590/595LMs.

I've been riding with a Zumo 396 for about 4 months now and have found it to be quite good. Screen is bright and plenty large enough. Good integration with Basecamp when both GPS and BC are set to the same settings. Love "adventure" mode. great way to find twisties in any area you are riding. My one peeve about it is that, being a smaller GPS, the keyboard is on two screens. As a consequence, when typing in an address one needs to toggle left and right to fill in any information. I mostly bring in GPX files for rides, so it is only a nuisance when I don't do that.

I appreciate the features of the bike intended GPS but have had a good luck with refurbished Garmins intended for cars. I got the Ram Aqua Box and it protects the car types from the elements. For about a hundred bucks I have lifetime maps and traffic.
They still work with a gloved finger through the face flexible faceplate. It may do tricks I haven't phathomed and occasionally it won't find a location...like Buena Vista CO...So I found a nearby place it recognized...no sweat.
