Funny how some helmets are prone to fogging and others rarely do. There is a Rain X for plastic. Applying that to the inside may help.

Some helmet companies (like Shoei, I believe) sell face shields designed for snowmobile riding. They have a double-pane face shield that works even better than the expensive (for what you get) Pin Lock anti-fog system and costs about the same as a face shield with a Pin Lock pin and insert.

RainX on the inside doesn't really work...works really well on the outside though. RainX Anti-Fog on the inside doesn't work. A Pinlock does. Dishwashing soap works, but not as well as a Pinlock.

I take my Pinlock out in the summer and use soap and leave the visor cracked open. Once it gets colder and rainier, I put the Pinlock back in.

I wear spectacles and find a Pinlock works well. If my specs start to mist when I first set out I lift my visor a crack and find they clear quickly for the rest of the ride. If the Pinlock doesn't work it is either badly fitting or needs a wash in pure soap and thoroughly dried before refitting. I've had them for years and won't buy a helmet without one.

Pinlock is great had them on a few lids over the years. However I find that when I'm filtering at slow speed on damp cold mornings, even with the visor opened slightly, there's not enough of an air flow to keep my glasses clear. Traveling at speed in the same weather conditions isn't too much of an issue just at slow speeds.

This is not a fault of the Pinlock, but it doesn't prove to be a total solution for me.

Tried both good old "Bob Heath" spray and the old washing up liquid method on the glasses lens but not really a solution.

My brother who's an Optician is suggested contact lenses but not too keen on that idea to be honest but I may have to as the weather turns this Autumn.

Another vote for the pinlock insert, luckily my helmet came with one. As for glasses, I think that, like fogging, varies from helmet to helmet. On my Shoei RF-SR I can just barely crack the chin vent and it creates a steady flow of air between the visor and my glasses that keeps them clear even when moving slowly, they only fog when at a complete stop and then I can just pop the visor until the light changes. It's only a problem on rainy days, and then I'm just lucky that my prescription is so light that I can ride without my glasses. I actually take the vision test at the DMV without them just so that it doesn't become a legal requirement for me.

You may find yourself a convert to contact lenses. I've been wearing contacts since around 1978. I'll be really sad if the day comes when I can't. The ones I wear now, I keep in the eyes for 30 days at a time. When I wake up in the middle of the night, I don't have to search for my glasses. I just open my eyes and see clearly.

My left eye is set up for close up vision, though it stays focused for everything from reading distance to quite a distance out there. The right eye is set up for distance. My brain adjusts for clear vision between the two eyes with no issues at all.

And when it rains in the winter...I have built in wipers.

I wore contacts for many years but then I had my vision adjusted with laser surgery. And that worked perfectly, until I became about 68, then my vision started changing so that I could not focus closely or at distance, which is pretty typical as you age, I believe. I now need both reading glasses and distance glasses (which do fog up when riding in cold weather) to see clearly. My daughter had laser surgery performed 25 years ago and she still sees perfectly.

There is a product called CAT CRAP (really) that you spray and dry for the inside of your face shield. It works, and I found it at my local WalMart optical center. My pinlock made the inside of my Touratech helmet quite warm.
