I just cut my own hair for the first time a couple of hours ago with a hair cutting kit that I bought on Amazon for $30, including tax. I did it by feel and now I don't want to look in a mirror. From now on I will be wearing a ski mask when I leave my home.

I bought a cordless clipper set for the stash and beard trim. I use the angled cutter for the edges both ways. I do the same with the head. I can do a better job in a very simple way than I was getting at the salon ( a barber shop is near extinct here). Actually it is very easy once you get going with it. Of course, I don't have the thick hair I use to but, doing it yourself saves money and will look just fine.
The clippings look more like something you would find in a mouse nest but, hey my hair is trimmed and there is always a fedora or cap to put on.
The best hair cut I ever had was in the UK near Birmingham. The time and skill of the lad who cut the old git's hair made it look, well like I had hair.
