To augment that book. See if you can get a copy of Smedley Butler's " War is a Racket". It is a small but, important book that I believe you will find interesting and lays some foundations for the coming decades leading up to WW II and beyond.

Here's a selection of books I've read in the last year or two ...... I think quite an eclectic mix. For the eagle eyed, I've noticed a UK postcode book, which would only be for reference, not really bedtime reading.
The book I've just started is Secret Pigeon Service: Operation Columba by Gordon Corera, before that was 'Memoirs of a British Agent', written by Robert Bruce-Lockhart in 1932 who was the British Vice-Counsul in Moscow during WW1.
