With the news filling our heads with repetitive rolling gloom and doom news (yes we know, stay in, keep your distance, I'm doing all that etc) whats the alternative? I like in particular, "Family Guy" or "The Simpsons", my preference is Family Guy.

The Family Guy reminds me too much of watching the President's family at work.

Well, you know how it is. I see more of Trump on TV than I see of any cartoon characters. BTW, how is BJ doing lately?

My comedic choice is Seinfeld. Also love the Simpsons.

BJs still in quarantine I understand, although he did appear briefly to applaud the National Health Service last Thursday. As an aside, the Scottish Medical Spokesperson was stopped by the police at her second home by the coast even though she had appeared on television to tell everyone else not to travel and stay at home. Eggs on faces and lots of squirming seem to be the order of the day.

Apologies, I never watched Seinfeld, Friends or anything in that ilk, I must have been too busy doing other things - I hope. Anyway wouldn't have been a patch on Monty Python, but if I'd known I would have watched Friends if only to leer at Jennifer's organ stops!!

An update on BJ - he's been admitted to hospital today as a precautionary because his symptoms haven't improved. And update that Catherine Calderwood the FORMER Scotland medical chief - has resigned because she didn't do what she told others to do.

I am really worried about my son-in-law, he just decided to ride his 120K-mile 1986 Honda VFR to visit his mother located in the Serra Nevada foothills, 350 miles away. He has a car and it is raining heavily all over central California, plus his mother's property is accessed by a 6-mile long private dirt road that hasn't been maintained for months, but I guess driving a car would be too easy. He is not even wearing a rain suit. He says that he wanted to see if his leathers were rainproof. He plans to return tonight, when it will be rainy and the temperature will be in the 30's. If he makes it back without crashing or being stopped by the cops for violating the stay-at-home order it will be a miracle.
