I like to look at "end times" prophecies. Not to get into pinpointing the exact time like some fool, but just in general. After all, the return of Jesus is one of the things all Christians look forward to.
So when I see events happening around me, I enjoy just saying, "what if?".
Jesus says these things will happen like "birth pains".

Like birth pains, they start out slow and increase in frequency and severity.

When you look at this verse, it says 25% of the population will die of violence, famine and plague.
When I look at places like Italy and Spain, you can see where the medical system was overwhelmed to the point they just couldn't take care of you. There's a lot of suspicion on China's numbers. The communist government says they have no new cases, but there's a lot of people dying of other causes like pneumonia. You can doubt the data...but you can't doubt the number of urns being shipped into the Wuhan province area for cremations.
Third world countries have no real medical infrastructure. When I went to Tanzania, we went past witch doctor huts all the time. Iran says the deaths are leveling off...but there's a lot of people in that part of the world too that have no idea of what it means to sanitize anything. They use their left hand to wipe themselves off. Forget about hand sanitizer. They'd have no idea what you're talking about.
Once the medical infrastructure gets hit...and the doctors themselves are sick and die...you'll end up with disease from rotting corpses. Things could snowball.
So it's just something I've been musing through in my mind. Once Israel became a nation, that was the big prophecy that had to occur before the rest of the end times events took place. That's out of the way, and so are we entering the "end times"?
Some will take this as "doom and gloom". To me, it isn't. It is hope. I know there's a plan. I know where I'm going when I die. And so I find this interesting, and exciting.

Speaking of Bacon: I thought I heard a "teaser" on the radio this morning that said something like Trump is ordering all of the closed (due to virus infections) meat processing plants in the U.S. to reopen and to start up those bacon and hot dog factories again. Could that be real? And can he do something like that? And if he does, is he going to order the National Guard into the plants when the workers will not show up due to being worried about catching the COVID-19 virus?
