Well, this is nothing if not creative. But the market for it might be somewhat limited: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dRb...ture=emb_title

Good thing it's downhill for the way home. Riding up slope eats power and so does a heat sink.
But folks have been cooking with motor heat since the Model T. I've seen some motorcycle examples somewhere.
Would have been more impressive if he had done that in a top box while riding to the picnic table.

Apparently, I completely missed the point of that video. The fellow who made it roasted me for thinking it was about the pizza oven. My bad. He and his friend, have developed a cable and 120V inverter for the Energica brand of motorcycles that can perhaps also be used to connect to other EV battery outlets to power 120V appliances when the power goes out, or if you are out in the woods and need electricity. It is a new invention and they plan to sell it via the Energica electric motorcycle online accessory store. I had posted the same sort of comments that Notacop did in response to his video. My bad.

Here is another video that perhaps better illustrates the usefulness of their product: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfz5...ture=emb_title

I don't think the point was mislead. Guy has big power supply and wants to operate an AC device. An inverter would be required. A few wires and a Harbor Freight inverter and you're in business. The riding sequence wasn't bad either. Other than the big goofy guy it was an interesting video. I wonder what the cycle time was for the cooking.
Powering the house, I dunno. Possible but not for long. Just don't run the appliances.
During a power outage a 2000 watt Honda generator wasn't happy when I tried to run the washing machine. It was fine with the fridge and freezer.

He claims that his cable and inverter will handle 8kW continuous, with a peak of 10kW. Sounds like a lot to me. At that rate it would drain the battery of that Energica, with the largest battery that they offer, in about 2 hours.

Here is a video that actually shows what is going on with that guy's EV battery power inverter system. Not quite ready for prime time and none of this equipment was shown in his promotional video:
