Here is the latest information regarding this new H-D GS model. Better late than never, I guess. It does seem to have some interesting features including a new engine:

H-D was at Alice's Restaurant yesterday offering test rides on their new Pan American. They were also displaying their latest 4-wheel vehicle nearby. When asked by one of their Pushers if I wanted to test ride a Pan American, I got rid of him quickly by telling him that I would be more interested in riding a motorcycle that was 200 pounds lighter and had half of the Pan's displacement.
