I'm planning to leave the Philly burbs Wed (09/29) and head south on I-81. I won't do the entire ride to NC in one stretch. I plan on stopping over somewhere around the halfway point; Roanoke, VA seems to be a good choice, at least from a mileage perspective. I plan to get started the next morning and complete the remainder of the ride down to Fontana.
Is there anyone who will be riding down parts of I-81 around this time? Would there be any interest in meeting at a convenient place and riding down to Fontana Village as a group?
