    Husqvarna 900CC Parallel Twin

A day or so after we previewed the 2012 Husqvarana line, we have physical proof. Behold, what you see above is a bored out version of the Rotax motor used in the BMW F800 line. This engine is 100cc larger overall and more geared toward overall performance than fuel economy. The engine*reportedly*is*lighter*in weight too.,

The big question is when we should expect to see motorcycle with this beast for a heart. Our guess? EICMA – Milan Italy. November, 2011.

1000 miles a month is simply not enough fun with this bike.

So the job is going to have to go.

What feels better than banking a motorcycle over into a corner?

Pleasantly spirited jaunt up the mountain and back, 64 MPG, what am I going to gain with 100cc and increased performance? I scare myself now!
So I can roost a gob of dirt?

Unlikely it's a "bored out" enlargement. I figure on they stroked it.
From these pics it looks to me like the cylinder is taller.
The liner is pretty close in there as an 800.
But it would be cheaper to go with the big bore kit.

look at the year 2004 so these newer engines aren't advertised or maybe secretly developed commercially secret of course

I do like the offset crank though - emulating the characteristics (and sound) of a V-twin. I wonder what they did with/to the balancer to accommodate the different crank ...
