It is an old clip from 2005 which made them the official 'World Champions'of DJ's

I saw them live 2 weeks ago and they are real entertainers too.

I have slowly discovering this band from Canada (whodathunkit?) The New Pornographers.
They are a bit of a "super group" by CDN standards featuring AC Newman, Neko Case, and Dan Mangan

This is 10 years old and is my favourite song to date. I can't get it out of my head.

Just got back from the Echuca Winter Blues Festival. Brilliant, as always. Echuca is a rural town on the Murray River, famous for its part in the inland paddle steamer trade from 1860's thru 1930's.
The whole town is taken over by the festival, 40+ acts, 20 +venues, including some on the restored steamers - and all free! The cream of the Aus Blues scene were there, including Jeff Achison, Fiona Boyes, Jimi Hocking, Chris wilson, Lloyd Spiegel, and lots of bands and other solo acts. Not much sleep over the three days!.
I took some video and a bunch of stills but haven't got them downloaded properly yet. BTW forget about using GoPro 3 for this kind of event- the audio can't hack the volume.

Just discovered Steve Howe's (of YES) videos on YouTube. He apparently posted a bunch of two-camera shots showing how to play his songs. All I can say is, "HOLY CRAP!!". These are awesome videos... I am in awe.

Have not heard this song in many, many years. Nor given it thought. It popped into my head today and stuck. Funny thing is, I had this cassette back when initially released (and saw Jackson Browne in concert) but never thought twice about the lyrical meanings. Ahhhh...the naivety of youth.
